The visual style is realistic photography. She has 590,000 messages logged and was created by a user named @bobo, who has been a member since October 2025.

Getting into a chat with Aria starts with a scenario selection screen. The available scenarios include Hiking Trail, Caught in the Rain, Late Night Hotel Bar, Quiet Library, Elevator Encounter, and City Festival. Each has a two-line description of the setup. We chose Elevator Encounter.

The opening message was exactly what the setup implied, and it was written with the kind of physical and atmospheric specificity that separates good roleplay platforms from bad ones. The elevator jerked to a stop between floors. The lights flickered. Aria glanced at us, at the buttons, back at us. The voice that came out was dry and unhurried: "Well, this is new."

We pushed the conversation into flirtation early to see how the AI handled the shift. What we got was not warmth flooding in. The character measured the move, held the tension, and let it develop at its own pace. The AI image generation worked directly inside the chat. Aria offered to send a picture during the session. A prompt appeared offering to accept or decline for 50 Moments. We accepted. The image appeared in the chat panel and matched the scene context. The conversation with Lara started more slowly than with Aria. The character led with warmth rather than wit. When we pushed the scene toward something more charged, Lara pulled back and played it as awkward awareness rather than confident deflection. The difference in personality between the two characters was immediate and did not dissolve. Aria was dry and watchful. Lara was warmer and more easily flustered. Both held their registers across the full session without bleeding into each other.

The image generation during the Lara session confirmed something we suspected from the Aria test. Lara asked to show us what she wanted, and a photo appeared in the chat of her smiling in a street setting, with red hair, consistent with her profile gallery images. The visual continuity between the profile card and the in-chat generation was noticeably better than what we have seen on platforms that generate images on a separate engine disconnected from the character asset.

We also tested the voice call feature during the Lara session. The Call Me button on the right panel initiates a voice interaction. The voice was clearly synthesized, but the cadence was more natural than what we have heard on OurDream AI. It is not a real-time emotional voice in the way some dedicated voice apps deliver. But for platform-integrated voice, it is one of the better implementations we have tested in this category.

Secrets AI Anime Style Test: Nori

Nori is 20 years old, from New York, USA. Her profile describes her as a photography student and city explorer. The visual style is anime art. She has 526,000 messages logged. The difference between a realistic-style character and an anime-style character on Secrets AI is immediately visible in the Generation Studio. Anime characters hold their visual identity more reliably across generated images. This is a technology limitation that affects the whole category, not just Secrets AI. CrushOn AI has the same pattern. OurDream AI has the same pattern. But Secrets AI's anime generations are visually tight.

The conversation with Nori opened in a bar scenario. The character clocked the opening line immediately, found it direct, and decided to stay rather than dismiss. "Wow. Direct. I can respect that." The exchange that followed moved fast, and the AI escalated alongside it without losing the character's edge. When we pushed further, Nori did not suddenly become accommodating. She pulled back one step and put a condition on it: buy me a proper drink first and tell me something real.

"Tell you what. Buy me a proper drink first, maybe share a story or two about who you actually are beyond the one-liners. And then maybe we'll see about that shot being worth something more."

That kind of conditional response, where the character holds her position rather than simply complying, is what makes extended roleplay sessions work. Platforms that capitulate to the user at every stage produce conversations that feel hollow after five minutes. Nori held her dynamic across the full session. The S3.5 mode on this character was noticeably better than S3, with longer, more physically detailed, and more emotionally calibrated responses.

Secrets AI Custom Character Builder: Building Julia from Scratch

The custom character creation flow at secrets.ai/custom is one of the most complete in the category. The builder walks through appearance selection using visual swatches and image previews rather than dropdown menus. You select ethnicity, skin tone, hair style, hair color, eye color, and body type. Each selection shows a preview image alongside the label.

We built a character named Julia: 25 years old, female, based in New York, Middle Eastern ethnicity, tan skin, long hair, brown hair, hazel eyes, curvy body type. After confirming the appearance, four avatar options were generated for us to choose from, with one free regeneration available if none matched what we wanted.

The personality creation flow opened as a conversational interface rather than a form. The AI asked questions about Julia's personality through suggested options. We selected "Ambitious and driven, she's building an empire." The system generated a full personality summary: Julia is a gorgeous and ambitious 25-year-old Middle Eastern woman from New York City, working as a fashion buyer while building her own beauty brand. The summary was specific, contextually coherent, and clearly informed by the choices we had made.

Compared to custom character creation on CrushOn AI, where you upload a photo and fill in text fields, the Secrets AI builder is more visually guided. The appearance selection uses image references at every step. The conversational personality creation produces more coherent characters because the AI builds the persona interactively rather than interpreting an unstructured description. The first conversation with Julia felt like talking to someone we had designed, not a placeholder with our preferred hair color.

Secrets AI Group Chat: Three Companions, One Conversation

Secrets AI's Group Chat feature, tagged as new on the interface, allows you to create a conversation with multiple AI companions simultaneously. The creation flow asks for a group name, response style (SMS or Paragraph), and spice level before asking you to select at least two companions.

We created a group called Movie Night with three characters: Abigail, Adriana Voss, and Adrienne. What made the group chat work was that the companions talked to each other as well as to us. When we replied with something minimal, Adrienne pulled the conversation back toward us rather than letting the other two dominate. The three voices were distinct across the full session.

Compared to OurDream AI's group chat, which we found to be the most impressive feature in that platform's review, Secrets AI's version is more fluid in how it passes the conversation between characters. OurDream AI requires you to manage scene cards and select characters more actively. Secrets AI's group chat unfolds more naturally. CrushOn AI's group chat gives more directorial control through the @ symbol but requires more manual input. Secrets AI sits between the two: less directorial than CrushOn, more fluid than OurDream, and the companion voices stay distinct throughout.

Secrets AI Pros and Cons: What Worked and What Didn't

What Secrets AI Does Well

The writing quality across all three characters was the highest we have seen in this category. Aria, Lara, and Nori all held their distinct personalities across long sessions without resetting to a generic companion tone. The S3.5 model was meaningfully better than S3, and the difference is worth the extra Moments cost for sessions where you want extended, detailed exchanges.

The custom character builder is the best we have tested. The visual appearance selection, the conversational personality creation, and the preview at every stage produce a character that feels built to specification rather than assembled from a form.

In-chat image generation is well-integrated. Images appear in the chat panel and in the shared media sidebar. The character offers to send pictures organically within the conversation rather than requiring you to navigate to a separate generation screen. CrushOn AI does not have this feature at all.

The Travel Back feature is a genuine differentiator. Being able to rewind the conversation to any earlier message and branch from there without losing the character work you have done is something we have not seen on OurDream AI or CrushOn AI. It changes how you approach a session and makes bad responses recoverable.

The Generation Studio offers granular control over image output. Outfit, action, and scene selectors let you build toward a specific image without needing to write the whole prompt from scratch. The NSFW content toggle is accessible and tag management is clear.

The group chat produces distinct voices. Three companions in the same scene, talking to each other and to us, each holding their own register without blending into each other.

Secrets AI Drawbacks

The Moments economy takes time to read. The platform does not present a single clear cost-per-message figure on the front page. You need to spend time in the store and in actual conversations before you understand the rate at which Moments drain. For a first-time user the lack of transparency is a friction point.

The S3 model is noticeably weaker than S3.5. If you run your sessions on S3 to conserve Moments, the writing quality drops meaningfully. The platform shows its best face on S3.5, which is its more expensive mode.

Visual consistency on realistic characters can drift across multiple generated images. This is a category-wide limitation and not unique to Secrets AI. Anime characters hold their visual identity more reliably. Candy AI has invested more in solving this problem than most platforms in this category.

There is no meaningful free tier. The platform allows you to browse and sign up for free, but the companion experience requires Moments, and the starting allocation is limited. You will need to buy a Moments pack to get a real feel for what the platform can do.

For pure writing quality on the Ultimate Plan, Secrets AI is the strongest we have tested in this category. The characters held across long sessions, the custom creation produced real results, the group chat was fluid without being scripted, and the in-chat image generation was better integrated than on any of the comparison platforms. If the Moments economy is transparent enough for you and the Ultimate Plan sits within your budget, the platform justifies the investment.
