Call Your Girlfriend

We're Hiring

We're growing, and we need people who can help us tell these stories.

Call Your Girlfriend started as a podcast between two best friends. Now we're building something bigger — a publication covering AI companions, virtual relationships, and the strange new ways people are connecting with technology. It's a beat that didn't exist five years ago, and it's moving fast.

We're looking for:

Podcasters

People who can hold a conversation, ask the right questions, and make listeners feel like they're sitting in the room. Experience with audio production is a plus, but a genuine voice matters more. You'll be hosting episodes, interviewing founders and users of AI companion apps, and exploring the human side of a very weird technological moment.

Writers

Sharp, curious writers who can cover AI girlfriends, chatbots, loneliness, dating, and digital culture without sounding like a press release or a moral panic. We publish articles, reviews, and guides. You should be comfortable with research, tight deadlines, and having an actual point of view.

Video Creators

If you can shoot, edit, and tell a story on camera — we want to hear from you. We're looking for people who can produce short-form and long-form video content: app walkthroughs, reaction-style reviews, interviews, and explainers. Comfort on camera is a must. A YouTube or TikTok portfolio helps.

What we care about

  • You're genuinely interested in how technology is reshaping relationships and companionship
  • You can explain complex or uncomfortable topics without dumbing them down
  • You have a portfolio, channel, or body of work we can look at
  • You don't need hand-holding — you can pitch ideas, not just execute them

How to apply

Send us an email at hello@callyourgirlfriend.com with a short intro, links to your work, and the role you're interested in. No formal cover letters needed — just tell us why this beat excites you.
